Philip Sinel

Since establishing Sinel & Co in 1987, Philip Sinel has practiced in the specialised areas of commercial litigation, fraud, private client and trust law.

He represents high-net-worth individuals, companies and corporations in courts in multiple jurisdictions, always front-loading with their desired end in mind. Called to Bar (England and Wales) in 1984, he qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 1987 and an Attorney-at-Law (Anguilla) in 2002. He received his Rights of Audience and to Conduct Litigation (Dubai) in 2008. He speaks both English and French and his hobbies include time with family, water sports and enjoying nature.

Advocate Philip Sinel is often invited to speak at conferences in relation to various aspects of Jersey law. He holds memberships in the Jersey Law Society, the Jersey Family Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists, the Institute of Directors, the Chancery Bar Association of England and Wales (overseas member), the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association overseas member), the Commercial Fraud Lawyers Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
