An insider’s guide to identifying fraudsters

If the last recession is anything to go by, where fraud increased by 10%, Covid-induced economic disruption might fuel duplicity.

Happily, fraudsters can usually be spotted a mile away. Be it flashy suits or gaudy gewgaws, their keynote is always ostentation. One particular example - the faux-Saudi Prince who stole millions but was brought down when he forgot to stop eating pork - neatly demonstrates how often the little details can betray huge frauds.
