Two senior appointments to our Jersey Legal Team

Advocate Robin Leeuwenburg, a litigation expert with extensive experience of handling complex commercial, trust and financial services cases, has joined Sinels Advocates as a Partner. He will work alongside newly-appointed Partner, Advocate Steven Chiddicks, and founding Partner, Advocate Philip Sinel, together with the existing team.

“Advocate Leeuwenburg’s experience will further strengthen our team of lawyers and Jersey Advocates as we continue to provide authoritative, expert, and intelligent advice to our clients,” says Philip Sinel, Senior Partner.

“Steven has shown himself to be a very strong lawyer, both technically and tactically. He has always been a key player in delivering the excellent advice that the firm’s clients have come to expect, but as a partner he will enable the firm to offer even greater depth and breadth of service,” said Philip Sinel.

Robin joins from another local law firm. In his new position he will handle commercial litigation and trust litigation. Robin has worked in Jersey since 2008 and qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2010.

“I look forward to building on Sinels’ strong reputation for robust advice and representation, and I very much share the firm’s client-focused ethos which helps individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations through effective and efficient legal advice,” said Robin.

Steven joined Sinels in 2006 and qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2011. During that time he has been involved in some of the highest profile cases in the island and has developed an excellent reputation, principally in the context of commercial and trust disputes.

“I am delighted to form part of the small, but efficient and growing team at Sinels. We occupy a very good position in the marketplace and I look forward to ensuring that we deliver more of the same to clients existing and new,” said Steven.
