Legal Professional: Solicitor/Legal Executive: Cross Border Collections

• Interesting and varied post for recovery firm involved in domestic and cross-border collections.

• Position self-employed / Salary and bonus scheme.

• Applicants will be versed in litigation basics including evidence collection, witness proofing, production of pleadings and affidavits.

• Applicants must be capable of working without supervision, be able to travel both domestically and cross-border at short notice.

Skills and Experience

Solicitor/Legal Executive – litigation experience – You will receive a salary and percentage of collections.

Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative

Able to travel including travel at short notice

Driving Licence and own car

Must be able to communicate concisely and clearly in writing

Help prepare the company for a launch

Needs to liaise with the existing team to bring the accounts up to date and implement a new bookkeeping system

Needs to be financially literate and work with existing team to update and improve system

Will need to report internally on tasks achieved and planned in advance

Position reviewed after six months

Produce hard and soft copy files for all cases kept in two places load onto lawman and similar

Produce case updates monthly and client updates quarterly

Get the whole lot onto one computer, billed and a reminder system

Start producing and processing leads (iPop will have ideas once we start looking for new business)

Read and understand intelligence reports

Open bank accounts for the English branch

Monetise all existing fields

Write an operating manual for domestic and cross-border debt collections

Compile an index of suppliers for legal and intelligence services per country.
